El Viento relies on the generous support of our community to provide for the success of our kids. We are a service organization with non-profit status so if you would like to make a financial or in-kind donation, we would be delighted to issue the appropriate tax receipt to you. The ten-year period from fourth grade through two years of college costs about $6,000 per student to complete. A $6,000 donation covers the following activities for each child for those years: - After School Tutoring
Academic counseling and tutoring provided by a certified teacher - Year-Round Recreational Programs
Monthly enrichment field trips to places like the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center - Summer Camp
Summer program consisting of swimming, sailing, ocean-related activities and camping trips - College Students
Counseling and advice on managing the transition into college life and beyond
A donation of at least $600 provides you with recognition as a member of our "Circle of Friends." - One student for one year: $600
- One student for the entire eight-year program: $4,800
- One class for one year: $15,000
- One class for the whole program: $120,000
Methods of Giving Planned Gifts
Gift plans create opportunities for both El Viento and our donors. Determining what gift is right for you is just as important as making the gift. There are many options from which you can choose. The correct plan for you balances what you wish to accomplish for yourself, your family, and your charitable interests in your overall estate and financial plans. One of our goals is to continue seeking in-kind donations for a variety of needs within our program, which include: - Printed T-shirts for students and staff
- Low or no-cost activities for our students during the school year and our summer program
- General office supplies
- Auction items for our Fall Golf Classic
