This June, 2010, our Flight 3 students will be graduating from high school. We congratulate them on their accomplishment and wish them well in their future endeavors. Click here to view a list of colleges our El Viento students will be attending this Fall 2010. In March of 2010, El Viento inducted our eleventh group of fifth graders into the program. June 2008 saw our second group of students graduate from high school and begin the transition of becoming college students. This noteworthy accomplishment further impacts the lives not only of our students, but also the lives of their families and the community at large. We are very proud of these successes and look forward to celebrating many more in the future! In 2006, our first class of fourth graders graduated from high school and entered college. This group of students are now in their fourth year of college. The example that these students are setting for other El Viento participants is both challenging and rewarding. Their success is the community's success and a testament to the effectiveness of community involvement, participation and leadership. |
